We are introducing the change to allow upload and display of Unit of Measurement price in all markets to comply with legislation in the UK&FR and improve price transparency regarding item value in other markets. In the UK &FR in particular there is a mandatory legislation for any partner to comply by sending UOM information for any packaged goods sold by weight/volume. More details here.
This information is already available on the Order Events webhook. We're simply exposing the same data through the synchronous /v2/orders endpoint to be consistent.
